Hakone Yumoto Hotel opened its doors as a hotel with just five rooms in 1957 and has since become a hotel representative of Hakone.
The hotel is surrounded by a Japanese garden, rich nature, and the stone path of Hakone Kyukaido which historical figures passed along in days gone by. Enjoy our special “Bijin no Yu” (bath of beauty) containing natural moisturizers, as well as dishes using local produce, appealing to the five senses.
The hotel is conveniently located, being only one bus ride from Hakone-Yumoto Station, perfect for any situation such as business, family travel, school trips, or travel with friends. Enjoy a relaxing time at the forest hotel in the midst of nature.
We offer local seafood and mountain produce, as well as specialties of Hakone. Our dishes include bread from the Hakone bakery, popular Neapolitan pizza, and soba (noodles) of Hakone Akatsuki An.
We prepare our dishes with our heart and soul so you can experience the exquisite taste of Hakone specialty cuisine.
We are proud of our special onsen which is drawn from four springs that are blessed by mother earth, surrounded by nature.
Our onsen “Bihada no Yu,” meaning the “bath of beauty” is just as it is named and contains natural moisturizers such as metasilicic acid, approximately three times higher than the average. Enjoy the onsen to your heart’s content and refresh your body fatigue from traveling in the spacious public bath.
